Ian Simmonds

Ian Simmonds is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and a Partner of Sixth Street. From 2005 to 2015, Mr. Simmonds was a member of the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Investment Bank in New York, most recently as a Managing Director. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Simmonds was Managing Director at Principal Global Investors, the asset management unit of The Principal Financial Group, based in Singapore. Prior to this role, Mr. Simmonds was a Senior Vice President at Bankers Trust Australia from 1995 to 2000 (acquired by Principal in 1999), and worked in public accounting at KPMG from 1989 to 1995. Mr. Simmonds received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Accountant.
